Mika – Make You Happy (Cherokee Remix)
Mika may be my favorite pop vocalist out there. It’s not easy to pull off, but his infectious energy & unabashed happiness always shine through his music. He’s out with a new album this fall and released a few songs for the summer.
We’re lucky that Mika’s Make You Happy has gotten the remix treatment by Cherokee’s immaculate French disco talents, a perfect combination I’d say. Bright pianos, crisp drums, and a funky bassline fill this song with a playful, airy romance. The groovy, slow tempo will have lovers dancing late into the night.
Mika made a music video for the original. It’s really really lovely.
